DESCRIPTION
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Amadeus is a handsome Australian shepherd type mix who came to the shelter on 3/1/2026 from the city pound. He was found running loose in town and no one ever claimed him. He's a happy and friendly dude who appears to be 3+ years old. We will get him vet checked and neutered soon and his fee is $150.
Amadeus is a fairly large dog at 50 pounds. He has a thick coat that will require regular brushing to keep it tangle free. He's an energetic dog who will need plenty of exercise. We do think he'd be okay with other dogs and older kids. We have no way of knowing about cats. He's very affectionate and would make a fun and loving companion.

We are located at 101 22nd St. SE in Austin, right next to the airport. It's exit 180B off of I-90, right off of 218 South.
