Australian Shepherd and Retriever Dogs Available for Adoption

Mac is a handsome, playful pup who’s ready for an active home that will take him along on life’s adventures. He absolutely loves the company of other dogs and can’t resist a good game of backyard chase. In his foster home, Mac has been working hard on basic obedience, house manners, and kennel training and he’s making wonderful progress. He’s fully potty trained, confidently uses the dog door, and is as sweet as can be.

Mac is an 8-month-old mixed breed rescued from a high-intake shelter. This dog's adoption fee is $400 and includes up-to-date vaccinations, microchip, 4DX testing, and neuter. Mac is also tested with other dogs, children, and potty trained. He is not tested with cats and is working on kennel training in foster care. We would love for you to meet this dog and see if he might be a good fit for your home.

The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal for the Saturday adoption event. The hold does not require that you take the animal home, but ensures you get to meet and make an adoption decision prior to other applicants. Also pending approval, you will be able to acquire foster home contact information, so you inquire on personalities of specific animals.

We do offer midweek private adoption appointments for approved applicants pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Because we are 100% foster-based, private adoption appointments are only offered for individual animals. (If interested in viewing multiple animals at one time, we encourage you to attend our adoption events!)

Please note, we do not have the ability to process adoption applications at our adoption events, so please plan accordingly. If an application is submitted past 5pm on Monday-Thursday, it will begin review the following day. If submitted on Friday-Sunday, it will begin review on Monday. It takes approximately 1-2 business days for an application to be processed.

Our adoption events take place every Saturday from 10am-Noon at Pet Supplies Plus (Front Range Village, 2912 Council Tree Ave #100, Fort Collins, 80525).
