DESCRIPTION
Hi there! I am a lovable little puppy! Even though I am cute as a button I will take some work as I adjust into my new home. Don't get me wrong, we will have a lot of fun in the meantime but I will need time to understand what's expected of me. I will need help on all those fun puppy things like house training and basic obedience. I want to learn everything I possibly can. I am pretty excited about life and doing new things! My goal is to be your lifelong companion and I should learn quickly with praise, treats and little patience. I'd really love for us to get enrolled in training classes, after all school is the best way to get us both educated on what it takes to raise a puppy! It will be fun to watch me as I'm learning, after all puppies can be pretty silly. If you're ready to take on all the fun and companionship, come on out to Wayside Waifs today!
ABOUT: AUSTRALIAN SHEPHERD DOG BREED
The Australian Shepherd is a highly intelligent and energetic herding dog known for its loyalty and work ethic. Originating in the United States, despite its name, this breed is prized for its agility, trainability, and versatility in various dog sports and activities. Australian Shepherds have a distinctive medium length coat that comes in different colors, often with unique merle patterns. With proper training, socialization, and exercise, these dogs make excellent companions for active families and individuals seeking a devoted and playful four legged friend.
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
