You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. The House Doesn’t Always Win... Sometimes Lady Luck Does
Lady is approximately 12 months old and appears to be a small Australian Shepherd mix, but her personality is pure Golden Retriever-level sweetness. She’s calm, gentle, and has the kind of temperament you’d expect from a service dog. She would be great as a person’s constant companion, and she also rides well in the car.
✠̈ Lady Luck’s stats:
• Walks beautifully on leash
• Quiet and calm personality
• Good with other dogs
• Sweet and easygoing
Like many dogs who have had to survive on their own, she shows a little food guarding around other dogs, which is not unusual. With regular meals and a stable routine, we fully expect that to improve quickly.
Over the past week, Lady has met several other dogs and has done very well with them.
Lady is being spayed today, and she will need a safe, comfortable place to recover.
Right now we are looking for a foster or adopter who can give this sweet girl the chance she deserves.
Place your bet on Lady Luck — we think she’s a winner.
