This dog is currently out of state but will be transported to New England shortly with no additional travel costs. The long distance adoption process includes talking to the foster they are living with in the south. Roughly 90% of our dogs are successfully long distance adopted and 10% adopted locally.

Meet Ace Talent, a 1-year-old Australian Shepherd / Border Collie mix, weighing 50 pounds (as of 3/1/26). This shy pup and his siblings were surrendered by their owner in Tennessee, but luckily, they're super positive about what's next. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, these pups are the TALENT litter so they consider traveling to New England as part of their act! They're looking forward to finding a fur-ever home and hopefully a fur-ever talent agent (you)! They're bound to be stars!
Ace is aptly named for his talent in archery! You might as well call him Robin Hood because this boy never misses! When he's not shooting bows and arrows at targets, you can find him snuggling up to you for validation on how good he was at getting bullseyes. He's a beautiful boy who may be a little shy at first, but he’s incredibly friendly once he feels safe. This gentle soul also has a sweet, loving nature that will make him a wonderful addition to any family. Ace will thrive in a patient, loving home that gives him the time and reassurance he needs to fully blossom, which includes helping him train with his archery. Hope you can balance an apple on your head!
The Talents are super friendly to strangers and other dogs. They've met kids on walks and are very gentle with them too (though we can't say much about the kids). They've also had experience with cats at their foster home, but the cats weren't quite as impressed with their talents. Everyone's a critic.
The Talent litter is still working on commands, leashing (there's some nervousness so far), and potty training (they're inside once in awhile, but rotate.) They'll need love, supervision and patience from their talent agents (you) as they adjust to home living. They do, however, have experience with crates which is two-thirds of the battle! When these pups are done learning, they'll be racking up first place trophies at every talent show around! Maybe with your help, they'll get to be on the cover of a cereal box! One can only dream.
Ace is still growing into himself and is going to be a big, handsome, absolutely awesome dog. With the right family by his side, Ace is sure to become a loyal and devoted best friend for life. Get Ace Talent today!
All dogs are up to date on vaccinations and spayed/neutered at the time of adoption. All dogs require professional training to become the best family member they can be.

The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them a breed all their own - a True and adorable American MUTT. If you are interested in this dog, you must submit an application.
