DESCRIPTION

Drako is currently waiting in Oklahoma for a family in a state where he can truly thrive. To get him to his forever home, we utilize a dedicated transport service. Once adopted, Drako will be ready for pickup at one of our convenient stops near the cities listed below.

We take great care in our matchmaking, but we also offer a safety net: if it isn't a perfect fit, Drako will always have a spot back at our rescue in Oklahoma until his true forever home is found.

Meet Drako: The Happiest Little Shadow!
Age: 4 months (Estimated DOB: Late November 2025)

Weight: 10–15 lbs as of March 29 (Medium full grown)

Breed: Australian Shepherd / Cattle Dog Mix (his sister looks like a Cattle Dog)

Are you looking for a smart, happy-go-lucky puppy to join your family? Meet Drako! This handsome little guy came to us from a neighboring town when his family’s circumstances changed, and he is now searching for his true "forever" home.

Why Drako is the Perfect Companion:
Social Butterfly: At just 4 months old, Drako is a blank slate! He has that typical, friendly puppy personality and is young enough to integrate perfectly with other dogs, cats, and children.

Crate Savvy: Drako is already used to spending time in his crate, which gives you a great head start on his routine.

Active & Intelligent: With his Australian Shepherd and Cattle Dog heritage, he’s going to be a quick learner who loves to stay busy. Whether it's backyard playtime or future hiking trips, he’s ready to follow you anywhere.

Training & Potential:
Drako is a "work in progress" in the best way possible! He hasn't started leash training or housebreaking yet, so he’s looking for a patient adopter who is excited about puppy kindergarten and consistent rewards-based training.

If you’re looking for a loyal, energetic best friend who will grow with your family, Drako is your boy!

• Preventative Care: Recently dewormed and consistently maintained on monthly flea, tick, and heartworm prevention.
• Travel-Ready: Within 10 days of his trip to you, Drako will receive a fresh health certificate exam and a fecal exam to ensure he is in tip-top shape for his journey.

Adoption Investment: $1,200 (This covers all medical care listed above, plus his professional transport directly to your area).
