Malcolm is a 1-year-old Australian Shepherd mix. He is vaccinated and neutered, and he came to us thanks to a kind samaritan.

When Malcolm first arrived, the world felt pretty overwhelming to him—and new environments can be scary at times, and when things get too intense, he may "pancake" and freeze.

The good news? He's already making great progress and learning that the world isn't all crocs and chaos. The fastest way to win Malcolm's heart? Sit with him and give him a good chest scratch.

He loves human companionship so much that he sometimes gets a little too excited and may have a happy pee—but that's just his way of saying how much being close to people means to him.

Being an Australian mix, Malcolm will do best with some mental stimulation and routine, but don't expect him to be herding sheep all day—this guy prefers a good lounge and a calm vibe over nonstop play.

He's sweet, clever, and eager to learn; he just needs a patient human to help him build confidence and say 'no worries, mate" to life.

Malcolm has had experience with cats and other dogs, though we recommend a foster to ensure everyone gets along like good mates.
