Espresso - Australian Kelpie Dog for Adoption in Lucas, Texas

Available From Texas

Espresso is an adorable 9-month-old Australian Kelpie mix, currently about 30 lbs and expected to be around 40 lbs full grown.

This sweet boy has already survived more than any puppy ever should. Espresso and his siblings were found on the streets, severely underweight, weak, and barely surviving. They were struggling just to stay alive until they were finally rescued and given a chance at a future.

Despite his difficult beginning, Espresso is a happy, energetic, playful boy who truly loves life. He gets along wonderfully with dogs of all sizes and would make a fantastic companion for another playful pup. He can sometimes get a little mouthy and playfully nip at fingers, but he is still young and learning his manners.

Espresso does well on a leash, is crate trained and mostly potty trained, and has a great appetite. He shows no food or toy guarding. He has come such a long way from the frightened, starving puppy struggling to survive on the streets.

Now Espresso is ready for the best chapter of his life a family of his own, where he will never have to wonder again where his next meal will come from or whether he is safe.
