River is a lively and intelligent Australian Kelpie with a big personality and an even bigger heart. She is leash and crate trained, highly food-motivated, and thrives on activity—whether it’s a game of fetch at the park, playing with her favorite toys, or showing off her goofy, playful side. River is both affectionate and independent, happy to curl up beside you on the couch after she’s burned off her energy. She is protective and alert, making her very aware of her surroundings, and her strong herding instincts mean she does not do well with cats and may need guidance around other dogs, especially in situations involving water where she can become possessive. River gets along well with adults and would do best in a home that understands her energetic nature and can provide structure, exercise, and continued training to help her shine.
