GRAVY

Australian Cattle Dog Blue Heeler
🇺🇸
Stratham, New Hampshire
March 5th
male, medium, young

DESCRIPTION

Gravy (approximately 38 pounds) was transferred to the NHSPCA from an overcrowded shelter in Texas. This happy & enthusiastic young fellow brings joy wherever he goes - it's almost impossible to frown when Gravy is being a clown! Gravy is what is known as a "teenage" puppy, meaning that he is almost his adult size but still acts like a puppyboy in most situations. Our boy Gravy loves humans and is always happy to make new friends. He also enjoys exploring news environments, making him a super fun potential hiking companion. Gravy lived with another dog (his brother) in his previous home, and he has been friendly towards the dogs that he has encountered here. All toys are good toys in Gravy's mind, and he is noticeably thrilled when he receives a new one. Snacks and petting are both at the top of his "Favorites" list as well, and his tail wags super hard whenever any of these things are a possibility. Gravy also features an adorable ridge of hair that runs down his back, making us wonder if he has Ridgeback somewhere in his gene pool! Come check it out for yourself, it's extremely adorable!

If you'd like to meet Gravy and all his friends at the New Hampshire SPCA, please visit our Adoption Center during our open hours: 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. every day except Wednesdays (closed). Have questions? Call (603) 772-2921 ext. 110 or email info@nhspca.org today. Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: White Weight: 17.2kg Age: 0yrs 9mths 1wks Animal has been Neutered

The Australian Cattle Dog, also known as the Blue Heeler, is a hardworking and intelligent breed originally developed in Australia for herding cattle. Renowned for their endurance and agility, these medium sized dogs have a striking blue or red speckled coat and alert, curious expression. With a strong herding instinct and boundless energy, they require mental stimulation and physical activity to thrive. Blue Heelers are loyal, protective, and make excellent companions for active individuals or families willing to provide the engagement and exercise they need.
