Australian Cattle Dog Blue Heeler Dogs Available for Adoption

Moose is a new arrival who appeared at a stranger's home malnourished. He was anxious, confused and slow to eat, but he soon relaxed and has settled in showing us lots of confidence in his personality. He quickly makes friends with new people. He is less than a year in age and her is a petite boy at about 30 lbs. More evaluation is coming with this small fellow with other dogs and cats. Currently, we know he is good with female dogs. Henis also good on a leash and very attentive. He enjoys company for sure.

We are a rural shelter with high intakes. As a result, the shelter dogs are not guaranteed safety. We do our best but, we need help.

ADOPTION FEES APPLY- Dogs $175- $200 Cats $90. (We are not set up for credit or debit payments.)

Families with young children are required to have a fenced yard to prevent accidental escape of pets.

The shelter is open Monday thru Friday from 9 - 3 p.m. except Thursdays (closed). Appointments are recommended. Saturday hours normally 10 - noon or by appt.

After hours appts can be arranged with advance notice and an approved application. We want to accommodate!

We are glad to answer any questions. Adoption rates include a spay or neuter, vaccines, & deworming. Surgeries are mandatory!

We are 45 minutes east of Lexington, Ky.
