Bluey - Australian Cattle Dog Blue Heeler Dog for Adoption in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
BLUEY
Australian Cattle Dog Blue Heeler

male, medium, adult
DESCRIPTION
This handsome pup is Bluey! At approximately 3 years old, Bluey came to us as a stray and, sadly, no one came forward to claim him. He is now looking for an experienced adopter who understands the needs of a smart, active cattle dog and is committed to helping him thrive.
In many ways, Bluey is a typical cattle dog: intelligent, energetic, driven, and always looking for something to do. He absolutely loves toys, enjoys being active, and would make a great companion for someone who can give him plenty of physical exercise, mental stimulation, and continued training.
Bluey can be protective of things that are important to him, and he may need a little extra guidance when adjusting to a new home and learning that he does not have to worry about his belongings or personal space. Because of this, he would do best with an experienced adopter who can read his body language, respect his boundaries, and provide him with consistency and structure.
Bluey has a lot of potential and plenty of personality packed into that handsome face. With the right person willing to understand him, keep his brain busy, and give him the guidance he needs, we believe he can become a wonderful and rewarding companion.
