Meet Linda & Colt
Bonded Pair — must stay together
Colt and Linda are a devoted bonded pair who have been together through life’s changes and now need a loving home to enjoy their next chapter together. After their owner passed away, they were surrendered by family, and through it all, they’ve leaned on each other for comfort and confidence.
Colt (11 years old, ~45 lbs) is a husky / spitz-type X GSD mix gentleman with shepherd charm and spitz youthfulness. He has short legs, so Linda is slightly taller.
Linda (3 years old, ~45 lbs) is a mix with youthful energy and a loving heart.
Both love being pet, adventures, and cuddles.
Together, they make a balanced, affectionate duo who are happiest when they’re side by side.
Colt & Linda:
– Bonded pair and must be adopted together
– House trained
– Friendly, affectionate, and people-oriented
– Kid-friendly
– Dog-friendly
– Very attached to each other and emotionally supportive as a pair
– Typical northern breed traits, including being vocal, “singing,” and having escape tendencies with low or unsecured fencing
Important notes for their safety and success:
– No cats or small animals
– Very tall, secure, non-climbable fencing required, or leash-only exercise
– Free group training in Sebastopol twice weekly is included for fosters and adopters
(Both are working on loose leash walking and recall, and love learning!)
Colt and Linda thrive with routine exercise, companionship, and an understanding that they like time put into them/bonding with them. They really love walks and hiking. They bring warmth, loyalty, and personality into a home and are looking for someone willing to keep them safe, together, and loved.
As with all of our dogs, their adoption includes group training classes, which help reinforce safety, strengthen their bond with their people, and support a smooth transition into their new home.
