Meet Z!

If you are looking for the sweetest, gentlest old lady dog, you’ve found her!

Zevia is a quiet, calm, senior cattle dog mix seeking a gentle retirement home. She would love her person/people to be home most of the time or take her with them. Although she behaves when left, she prefers to be with her people. She would enjoy walks around the neighborhood and a yard to lounge in. Z is estimated to be 12-14 years old. She has some weight to lose but is still able to get around well. She can do some steps but likely that may decline with time.

Z has been checked by a vet and had a full work up. She has some things to watch but no major concerns at this time. She is scheduled for a dental which will be included with her adoption.

Z does fine with other dogs but would prefer them to be of the less obnoxious age/type. She doesn’t mind cats if they are nice to her. She likely wouldn’t mind older children but we do not know her experience with them. She is good for the groomer, nervous but good for the vet and ok with nail trims. She rides in the car well but may need help getting in and out (though she disagrees!)

She is house trained but occasionally has accidents.

Zevia is spayed, microchipped, current on vaccines and scheduled for a dental.
