Australian Cattle Dog Blue Heeler
🇺🇸
Montour Falls, New York

female, medium, adult
DESCRIPTION
It's not possible to have too many Cookie's is it? Since we already have one Cookie in our care, we've named this little lady Oreo Cookie - in contrast with the Snickerdoodle Cookie we already have. This pretty Cookie is a 6 year old heeler who came to us when her owner passed away. She had been in a loving home since she was a puppy, but when no one else in the family could care for her, she came to us to find another loving family.
True to the breed she is smart - very smart! Oreo Cookie has a great vocabulary and knows several commands. She can sit, knows down, come, shake, toll over and can even dance pretty.
This girl needs a job to do to keep her both mentally and physically challenged. If you've got livestock to tend, Oreo Cookie is up for the job!
She is up for adventure and will be by your side every step of the way. Oreo Cookie has lived with cats and young children, but hasn't had much exposure to other dogs. Hence, our sense is, that she would prefer to be your one and only canine.
The adoption fee for adult dogs is $225. All have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated for rabies, kennel cough, DH(L)PP, have had a complete fecal analysis, treated for internal and external parasites, are heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative and flea and tick preventative and are microchipped. Stop in on Monday, Thursday and Friday from 10- 1, Saturdays from 10 - 4, Sundays from 2-5 without an appointment or call us at 607-594-2255 to schedule an appointment. Or, visit our website www.schuylerhumane.org to fill out an adoption application to get the process started.
