DESCRIPTION
Hello my name is Chani, I'm from Minnesota!
I'm a happy, excitable girl who is full of joy! I love to go on long walks and play, but once I'm tired I will curl up next to you or in my crate for a long nap. I need slow introductions to other animals because I get so excited at first, but after a week or two I am happy to coexist and give my cat or dog roommates their own space. Because I get so excited I do best with older children, I sometimes get a bit jumpy.
I am crate trained and prefer to sleep in my crate and use it to regulate my energy, so laying in there with a peanut butter kong or other chewy toy is great for me!
I'm looking for a home where I can be active and get all of my energy out and then settle in for a good belly rub (my favorite!).
ABOUT: AUSTRALIAN CATTLE DOG BLUE HEELER DOG BREED
The Australian Cattle Dog, also known as the Blue Heeler, is a hardworking and intelligent breed originally developed in Australia for herding cattle. Renowned for their endurance and agility, these medium sized dogs have a striking blue or red speckled coat and alert, curious expression. With a strong herding instinct and boundless energy, they require mental stimulation and physical activity to thrive. Blue Heelers are loyal, protective, and make excellent companions for active individuals or families willing to provide the engagement and exercise they need.
