Australian Cattle Dog Blue Heeler Dogs Available for Adoption
TONY/COURTESY POST
Australian Cattle Dog Blue Heeler
🇺🇸
Medfield, Massachusetts
January 24th
male, medium, adult
DESCRIPTION
Tony is not currently at the Medfield Animal Shelter. He is with our friends at the Lakeville Animal Shelter and ended up there after his owner died suddenly. We spent a little time with him and he is playful, silly, and seems like a nice pup. He is neutered, housebroken, and approximately 8 or 9 years old. He is on the chunky side so would like an owner who will help him slim down. If you are interested in adopting him, please send an email to info@medfieldshelter.com.
ABOUT: AUSTRALIAN CATTLE DOG BLUE HEELER DOG BREED
The Australian Cattle Dog, also known as the Blue Heeler, is a hardworking and intelligent breed originally developed in Australia for herding cattle. Renowned for their endurance and agility, these medium sized dogs have a striking blue or red speckled coat and alert, curious expression. With a strong herding instinct and boundless energy, they require mental stimulation and physical activity to thrive. Blue Heelers are loyal, protective, and make excellent companions for active individuals or families willing to provide the engagement and exercise they need.
