Australian Cattle Dog Blue Heeler Dogs Available for Adoption

Bailey is the perfect dog for almost any home. Housebroken and velcro (meaning she wants to be anywhere her people are), Bailey is sensitive, smart and learns quickly with gentle training. Her ears are a barometer of her emotions. Flat to her head if unsure, sticking straight out to the side when she is being joyful. She is a little shy, but very friiendly with everyone she meets. A very good citizen at the dog park and wonderful with our cats. Sweet gentle Bailey came off the Rez with her 9 puppies where she was found as a pregnant stray. RezDawg Rescue does not leave mamas behind when their pups are rescued. Pups will be available later in April. Adult dogs require special permission to be placed with young children, but this young adult is super submissive and would be a great dog for a family regardless of age for a well behaved child. Great with dogs of all sizes, cats and kids. Bailey is 39 pounds, and a perfect healthy weight - the perfect smaller size to travel and large enough to hold her own on hiking trails. Bailey would be great in a home with other pets, but what she most wants is the attention of her people. She does not seem to favor foster mom vs dad. Bailey would be perfect in a home that values a calm, gentle, friendly dog whether perhaps a home with sensory processing needs or an older person or family who will value her constant sweet company.

Bailey is spayed, fully vaccinated for the next year, perfectly house trained and learned the dog door when we only showed her once. She absolutely loves shadowing her fosters and is very smart and eager to please. She is very obedient and the bonds formed during teaining will continue to improve her confidence.
