SATURDAY, SEPT 5 from 12 to 3PM: PET ADOPTION EVENT at the MERRIAM PETSMART located at 5810 Antioch Rd, Merriam, KS 66202. Join us at Merriam Petsmart and meet your perfect match. We’ll have DOGS, PUPPIES & KITTIES ready to steal your heart!

SATURDAY, SEPT 5 from 12 to 3PM: DOG ADOPTION EVENT at PETSMART in Olathe (119th & Strang Line) with Heart of America Humane Society. We’ll have several wonderful dogs there looking for homes!

Meet SUSIE! Susie is one fun, sweet and smart girl! And to top it off she's such a pretty girl-- she's the total package! Susie loves people and loves to play with her toys. She's gentle and doesn't jump up on you. She appears to be house trained. All she needs is a loving family looking for a wonderful companion!

Susie is a 2 year old Cattle Dog mix and she weighs 37 lbs.

ADOPTING A DOG
Our dogs have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and tested for heartworms (if 7 months or older).

If you have a dog or children we ask that you bring them with you to meet our dogs to make sure it is a good match.

We are open for meet and greet adoptions at our shelter on weekends. No appointment is necessary for weekend adoptions. Our weekend hours vary and we also have satellite adoption events every weekend. With a strong herding instinct and boundless energy, they require mental stimulation and physical activity to thrive. Blue Heelers are loyal, protective, and make excellent companions for active individuals or families willing to provide the engagement and exercise they need.
