DESCRIPTION

Meet Macy!

Macy’s story started on the side of a busy freeway, where she survived on her own for weeks. Today, safe in her foster home, she’s absolutely thriving. It’s hard to believe she was ever a street pup when you see her favorite hobby: sleeping upside down, completely cozy and carefree.

Macy isn’t your average young heeler. She has that rare “off-switch” (yes we call that a heeler unicorn). She’s playful and always ready for an adventure, but she’s just as happy lounging by your side. She loves toys, adores treats even more, and is perfectly content cuddling on the couch or resting at your feet.

She does wonderfully with kids of all ages and gets along well with other dogs when introduced properly. Macy is a happy, friendly girl with so much love to give. Because of her rough start, she may be a little timid at first but once she feels safe, her sweet and affectionate personality truly shines.

Macy is crate trained, house trained, and fully vetted. She’s currently finishing the final stages of heartworm treatment and will be ready to transport to her forever family in early April. She is estimated to be around 2yrs old and weighs 40lbs.

She’s being fostered in Houston, Texas, but can be adopted to many locations across the country. Her $600 adoption fee includes transport.

If you’re looking for a loyal adventure buddy who also doubles as a professional cuddle expert, Macy might just be your perfect match.
