DESCRIPTION

Meet Harper!

Harper is a sweet, soulful Heeler with the gentlest heart. This lovely girl absolutely adores people and would be perfectly content living her best life as your cuddly couch companion. If you’re looking for a dog who wants to be close to her humans and soak up all the love, Harper is your girl.

She loves toys (they’re fascinating and fun!), though fetching them back is still a bit of a mystery to her — and honestly, that just makes her even more endearing. She’s happy to entertain herself or simply relax nearby.

Harper gets along well with other dogs and has lovely manners with them. She’s not pushy or over-the-top — she’s perfectly happy to hang out and coexist peacefully. Whether she joins a home with another friendly pup or soaks up all the attention as your one-and-only, she’ll fit right in.

She would do best in a home that can provide a bit of structure and consistency. Like many Heelers, she appreciates routine. She’s made great progress and has really settled into her daily rhythm. While she used to try and follow staff out the door, she’s learning that everything’s okay and now typically heads to her bed once she understands it’s time to relax.

Harper seems like she would be an easy addition to just about any loving home. She’s affectionate, adaptable, and ready to be someone’s loyal sidekick.

If you’re looking for a sweet, steady companion with a heart of gold, Harper is waiting to meet you!

Harper is approximately 11 years old, has a docked tail, and weighs 31 lbs. She is spayed, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. She is currently taking heartworm and flea preventative.
