DESCRIPTION
Meet Ernie!
Ernie is a loving, playful young Heeler with a joyful personality and a big heart. He has recently discovered the wonderful world of toys and absolutely loves chasing them when tossed. Sometimes he gets so excited that he forgets to bring them all the way back, but his enthusiasm is part of his irresistible charm!
Ernie gets along beautifully with other dogs and cats. If a furry friend starts to run, he happily follows along, thinking it’s all part of a fun game.
Outdoors, Ernie shines. He has excellent recall and walks nicely on a leash, making him a great companion for adventures. He rides calmly in a crate in the car and settles right into his crate at bedtime when asked. He’s also been doing wonderfully with house manners and has had no accidents.
Ernie is a smart boy who understands commands like “sit” and “no,” and he’s shown himself to be gentle and good-natured. Farm animals like chickens and cows certainly catch his interest, but so far, he has been respectful with them.
Curious, clever, and full of personality, Ernie is ready to bring laughter, love, and lively companionship to his forever home.
Ernie is approximately 3 years old, weighs 37.6 lbs, and has a stubby tail. He is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. He is currently taking heartworm and flea preventative.
