DESCRIPTION
Meet "Forty"!
This 3 year old, 40 pound Heeler mix has a big personality and even bigger heart. He's a friendly boy who enjoys meeting new people and settles in nicely once he feels comfortable. While he gets along with other dogs , he tends to prefer calmer, less active canine companions who respects his space and energy.
Hike many Heelers, Forty has a higher energy level, and will thrive in a home that can give him regular exercise and mental stimulation. He's smart and with some basic training and consistency he has all the potential to be an amazing well-mannered boy.
He does have a tendency to guard his toys, so he will need a adopter who understands this behavior and can continue working on positive training and management.
Forty will need to meet all humans and canines before adoption, no children under 15.
