Australian Cattle Dog Blue Heeler Dogs Available for Adoption
DENNIS
Australian Cattle Dog Blue Heeler
🇨🇦
Edmonton, Alberta
February 26th
male, medium, young
DESCRIPTION
Dennis isn’t just a handsome face (although those unique markings definitely turn heads!) He’s also an incredibly intelligent, brilliant young dog who is ready to put his brain and his energy to good use outside of shelter life.
At just under a year old, Dennis is still very much in his teenage phase. He’s high-energy, driven, and thrives when he has structure, purpose, and engagement. This is not a “couch potato” kind of guy - so he’s looking for an active home that understands the importance of meeting breed needs, providing enrichment, and keeping a smart dog mentally fulfilled.
During his time in our shelter, Dennis has made lots of friends with the other dogs and truly enjoys their company. He would likely love a playful canine companion in his forever home and would do best with plenty of space to run and burn off that young-dog energy.
When his brain is busy and his body is exercised, Dennis absolutely shines. Without that guidance, like many smart young dogs, he may try to create his own “fun” - and we all know that usually means mischief. 😉
He has so much potential and will make an incredible companion for someone willing to invest the time and energy into helping him become the very best version of himself.
If you’re looking for a brilliant, athletic, strikingly handsome partner who’s ready to learn, work, and play… Dennis might just be your guy. 🩵🐾
