This playful little guy was born in June 2025 and is ready to find his forever home! Spike is full of energy and loves to have fun—whether he’s chasing toys, exploring the yard, or curling up for snuggles after a busy day, he’s sure to bring endless joy to his new family.

Spike would thrive with an active family and a yard where he can run and play to his heart’s content. He’s smart, curious, and eager to be part of the action.

His mom, Destiny, is a sweet Shih Tzu, and while his dad didn’t stick around, we believe he may have been an Australian Cattle Dog—giving Spike a wonderful mix of intelligence, loyalty, and lively spirit.

Typically, an application and home visit (both of which are required for adoption) MUST be completed, BEFORE a potential adopter will be introduced to one of our pets, in order to first determine that our basic adoption requirements are met, prior to introductions being made. We also utilize personal reference and vet checks (to ensure that any pets already in the potential adoptive home are current on vaccines, heart worm prevention and sterilized) in our adoption process, all of which is intended to ensure that the best match, between pet and people, is made. The adoption fee is based on on the dog's age.

The Australian Cattle Dog, also known as the Blue Heeler, is a hardworking and intelligent breed originally developed in Australia for herding cattle. Renowned for their endurance and agility, these medium sized dogs have a striking blue or red speckled coat and alert, curious expression. With a strong herding instinct and boundless energy, they require mental stimulation and physical activity to thrive. Blue Heelers are loyal, protective, and make excellent companions for active individuals or families willing to provide the engagement and exercise they need.

The Shih Tzu is a small, affectionate dog breed known for its distinctive appearance, with a luxurious double coat, a short muzzle, and large round eyes. Originally bred as companion dogs for Chinese royalty, Shih Tzus are friendly, outgoing, and loving pets. They are known for their playful and charming personality, making them great family pets and suitable for apartment living. With their low shedding coat and adorable face, Shih Tzus are popular among dog lovers worldwide.
