Bentley is what we like to call a low-key legend. The kind of dog who doesn't need to be the loudest in the room because he already knows he's got it going on.

After spending time in a foster home, we've learned that Bentley is equal parts quirky, clever, and quietly charming. He's the guy who prances when he's excited (yes, prances ), checks in with his human like a little supervisor, and stares deep into your soul like he knows your secrets... and is choosing to love you anyway.

Bentley is very food-social. He prefers to eat "with" you, like it's a shared dining experience. He won't snatch food from your hand... but leave a snack unattended and suddenly he's conducting a very thorough investigation.

He's affectionate in his own unique Bentley way. Snuggling? Not really his thing... unless there's a thunderstorm. Then he transforms into a full-body lap dog and you are legally not allowed to move.

A few things to know:
He may try to make a run for open doors (freedom is tempting!)
He will chase cars, so a secure leash and yard are a must
Not a fan of baths or being held, but he tolerates it like a polite grump
Loves toys... briefly... before they meet their untimely demise

Bentley is a quiet, intelligent, slightly quirky gentleman who would thrive with someone who appreciates his independence, respects his boundaries, and enjoys the little moments... like being lovingly stared at while eating a sandwich.
