We were definitely surprised by Roxie's DNA results! According to Wisdom Panel, she is 45% Australian Cattle Dog, 23% American Pit Bull Terrier, 13% Bloodhound, 12% American Staffordshire Terrier, 3% Rottweiler, 2% Bulldog, and 1% Labrador Retriever. Roxie will be 12 weeks old on Saturday and weighs around 20 lbs. She is estimated to weigh between 35-62 lbs when full grown. She's doing great with potty training and kennel training, though she much prefers being out with her foster family when someone is home. Roxie loves to cuddle and play with her canine foster siblings. While she enjoys having canine friends, she would also do just fine as an only dog as long as she has plenty of toys and people to love on her. She is ready to find her person or family! Roxie loves kids, does great with other dogs, and has no issues with cats. If you would like to add Roxie to your family, please submit an application at www.rescuerowinc.org.

Rescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs in shelters, dogs in abusive or neglectful situations, and dogs surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances. We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process, which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives. Dogs in our care are spayed or neutered, microchipped, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. Dogs in the greatest need take priority. Finally, we strive to work with shelters and other rescue and humane organizations to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for homeless dogs.
