DESCRIPTION
Henry is an 8-month-old male Cattle Dog mix with quiet, unassuming eyes and the sweetest, most gentle soul. This mild-mannered boy may not be the loudest pup in the room, but he has a way of quietly stealing hearts wherever he goes.
When Henry first arrived at the shelter, he was absolutely petrified. The big, unfamiliar world felt overwhelming. But once he realized he was safe and cared for, he slowly began to blossom. Day by day, his tender personality started to shine through. He’s still a little shy—especially in new or chaotic environments—but when given the chance to settle in at his own pace, he does beautifully.
Henry feels most confident around other dogs. While it’s not a requirement, a canine companion in the home could help him continue building confidence and show him the ropes. He enjoys playing with other pups, but he’s also perfectly content chewing on a favorite toy or bone by himself (he prefers not to share his treasures!).
Once Henry trusts you, he becomes the biggest softie. His affection is gentle and sincere—softer and sweeter than most puppies. He’ll happily curl up in your lap or nestle right beside you for a cozy nap, soaking in the comfort of being near his person.
The best part? Henry is fully potty-trained and crate-trained. He does well with other dogs, cats, and kids, making him a wonderful addition to just about any loving home looking for a calmer, more sensitive sweetheart to join the family.
If you’re searching for a loyal companion with a tender heart and a quiet devotion, Henry might just be your perfect match.

ABOUT: AUSTRALIAN CATTLE DOG BLUE HEELER DOG BREED
The Australian Cattle Dog, also known as the Blue Heeler, is a hardworking and intelligent breed originally developed in Australia for herding cattle. Renowned for their endurance and agility, these medium sized dogs have a striking blue or red speckled coat and alert, curious expression. With a strong herding instinct and boundless energy, they require mental stimulation and physical activity to thrive. Blue Heelers are loyal, protective, and make excellent companions for active individuals or families willing to provide the engagement and exercise they need.
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
