DESCRIPTION
I'm one of the lucky ones who came to BFHS through the Happily Ever After Program🐾. Clover is a 5-year-old Australian Cattle Dog mix and about 53 pounds of enthusiasm with legs. If you enjoy hiking, running, throwing toys, throwing toys again, and generally having a dog that thinks every day is leg day, Clover is your girl.
She's funny, smart, affectionate, and wildly entertaining. The only reason she's still around is because she hasn't met her person yet.
So here's the deal:
If you want a lazy couch potato, Clover is not it.
If you want a loyal, hilarious, adventure-ready sidekick, now we're talking.
She already waited 406 days at her last shelter.
Let's not make her start another long streak here.
Settling into a new home and lifestyle takes time for a lot of dogs, and clover will be no exception. However, if you are willing to give Clover the time to become familiar with you and your routines, I think you will be more than happy with the outcome.
Do you enjoy games? Clover does too! Games with balls, squeaky toys, toys that hide food, you name it, She is up for it! Exercise and games will be what help keep Clover (and you!) happiest. Primary Color: Red Secondary Color: White Weight: 21kg Age: 5yrs 0mths 2wks Animal has been Spayed
ABOUT: AUSTRALIAN CATTLE DOG BLUE HEELER DOG BREED
The Australian Cattle Dog, also known as the Blue Heeler, is a hardworking and intelligent breed originally developed in Australia for herding cattle. Renowned for their endurance and agility, these medium sized dogs have a striking blue or red speckled coat and alert, curious expression. With a strong herding instinct and boundless energy, they require mental stimulation and physical activity to thrive. Blue Heelers are loyal, protective, and make excellent companions for active individuals or families willing to provide the engagement and exercise they need.
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
