Australian Cattle Dog Blue Heeler, Husky
🇺🇸
Parsons, West Virginia
March 3rd
male, large, adult
DESCRIPTION
Chevy is the chillest dude around. Hes a total "go with the flow" guy. He came from North Carolina and ended up in our rural shelter in West Virginia after a divorce took place in the home. Zero fault on Chevy. They told us he gets very protective over women in the home, but at the shelter, he seems to bond to men. He hasnt met a stranger though- humans or furry friends.
His leash manners are very impressive as well as his basic obedience. He just needs a home to let him showcase his brain and heart!Apply to adopt at www.tcanimalshelter.org/adoption
ABOUT: AUSTRALIAN CATTLE DOG BLUE HEELER DOG BREED
The Australian Cattle Dog, also known as the Blue Heeler, is a hardworking and intelligent breed originally developed in Australia for herding cattle. Renowned for their endurance and agility, these medium sized dogs have a striking blue or red speckled coat and alert, curious expression. With a strong herding instinct and boundless energy, they require mental stimulation and physical activity to thrive. Blue Heelers are loyal, protective, and make excellent companions for active individuals or families willing to provide the engagement and exercise they need.
The husky breed is renowned for its striking appearance, characterized by piercing eyes and a thick double coat. These medium sized, energetic dogs are known for their friendly and outgoing personalities, making them wonderful companions for active families. Originally bred for sledding and endurance in cold climates, huskies are intelligent and independent, often displaying a strong prey drive. Proper training and regular exercise are crucial to keep these playful and social animals happy and well adjusted.
