Meet Kaia 11 months heeler medium size build – The Cuddly, Playful Black-and-White Sweetheart!

Kaia is a gorgeous black-and-white pup with a heart just as warm as her snuggles! This little cuddle bug adores people, kids, and other dogs. She has no food aggression, no prey drive, and has even been around ferrets, so we’re confident she’ll do well with cats too.

Kaia is crate-trained and sleeps in her kennel every night — and of course she happily trots right in for her bedtime treat! She’s also potty trained and uses a dog door like a pro, though like any young puppy she may still have an occasional accident. She is great out in public, loves the water a great companion for someone who is looking for an adventure buddy..

She’s been wonderful with her foster’s toddler (18 months) and has shown zero signs of aggression. Kaia loves chew toys, playtime, and staying busy, but she’s just as happy cuddling up on the couch for some love.

One of her best traits- She’s not a door dasher! Even with the front door open, she doesn’t bolt — a huge plus for families with little ones or slow movers.

Kaia is the perfect mix of playful puppy and affectionate companion. She’ll thrive in a home that gives her love, structure, and plenty of fun things to chew.

Once your application has been approved, a member of our team will contact you to schedule a phone interview and a meet-and-greet. This process can take up to 10 days as we are volunteer run.
