DESCRIPTION
Rusty,
Sweet neutered male, is a bit shy at first but warms up to people quickly. Rusty plays well with other dogs and is curious about cats.
He lives in a home with five cats, 2 dogs and a 7 year old. He loves playing fetch with the ball and is working on bringing it back and dropping the ball.
Rusty does well in his kennel at night, and when no one is home. He uses a dog door and is house trained.
Rusty likes to go on walks however it is best to go early in the morning or late in the day when there is not a lot of traffic or people. He gets scared by the cars. And since we have no idea what kind f life he had before he was saved by the rescue, it is just something he needs practice and confidence building ;)

ABOUT: AUSTRALIAN CATTLE DOG BLUE HEELER DOG BREED
The Australian Cattle Dog, also known as the Blue Heeler, is a hardworking and intelligent breed originally developed in Australia for herding cattle. Renowned for their endurance and agility, these medium sized dogs have a striking blue or red speckled coat and alert, curious expression. With a strong herding instinct and boundless energy, they require mental stimulation and physical activity to thrive. Blue Heelers are loyal, protective, and make excellent companions for active individuals or families willing to provide the engagement and exercise they need.
The Cardigan Welsh Corgi is a delightful medium sized herding dog known for its long body, short legs, and fox like appearance. Originating in Wales, these intelligent and affectionate dogs are loyal companions with a fun loving and playful nature. Their distinctive coat comes in various colors, often featuring a signature "fairy saddle" marking on the back. Cardigan Welsh Corgis excel in activities such as obedience, agility, and herding trials, making them versatile and engaging pets for active families.
