DESCRIPTION
Cattle Dog/Border Collie mix maleWelcome Maximus MMXXVI, more commonly known as “Max” from City of Tulare Animal Services.
Max is a leggy, 31lb, 2 year old, male cattle dog mix. He found himself at the shelter (December 2025) after his person went to the hospital. Either they never made it out or just never circled back around for him. That said, it’s clear he knows how to navigate the inside of a home. He’s housebroken and knows some basic commands.
Max is dog friendly, in fact he was the shelter’s tester dog for the last 2 months so if that says anything about his character. He’s also very people social. Max is a fun guy with a lot of charm and spirit. He’s toy motivated and would make a great sport dog. He’s cat-like in his movements and very light on his feet. When he’s not playing, he’s snuggling (very affectionate, aim to please boy).
Max is microchipped, neutered, and UTD on vaccines. Located in Arroyo Grande, CA
