Australian Cattle Dog Blue Heeler and Bluetick Coonhound Dogs Available for Adoption

Bergamont (or Bergy as we call him) is a 3-4 month old Heeler mix that was going to be euthanized at the shelter with his litter. Bergy is a total lovebug with the softest soul.

He had a rough start to life, before he even ended up at such a scary shelter, so he may take a little time to warm up in a new environment, but once he feels safe, his affectionate personality truly shines.

This sweet boy loves to sink into you for pets and cuddles and will happily curl up right by your side. Bergy is playful and brave, with a naturally gentle, more submissive personality around other dogs. He enjoys toys, playtime, and exploring, but he also loves to find a comfy spot to relax once the fun is done.

Bergy is doing wonderfully with potty training and crate training and sees his crate as a safe, cozy space. He’s also very food motivated, making him highly trainable and eager to learn.

With a little patience and love, Bergamont becomes an incredibly loyal, cuddly companion who just wants to be close to his people.

His adoption fee includes all rounds of puppy vaccines, microchipping, deworming, and a $300 refundable neuter deposit, with a mandatory neuter contract to sterilize at 6 months.

He is currently being fostered in Austin Tx, but available for out of state adoption.
