Sunny—is a beautiful 3-year-old mix with the kind of soul you don’t come across often. At 55 pounds, she’s the perfect balance of playful companion and cozy couch buddy.

Sunny is everything you want in a dog—affectionate, sweet, and incredibly loving. She has a gentle way about her, whether she’s softly playing or curling up next to you to watch TV. And fair warning… once you start petting her, she’ll nudge your hand for more. She lives for that connection.

She absolutely loves her walks and happily trots around the neighborhood taking everything in. She’s fully house-trained and crate-trained, making her an easy addition to your home.

One of the most special things about Sunny is her temperament. She is calm, patient, and incredibly tolerant—even with kids. She’s been wonderful with a high-energy five-year-old who doesn’t always understand boundaries, which says everything about her gentle nature. She truly has a quiet, motherly presence that makes people feel at ease.

Sunny also loves people—all people. Every walk turns into a meet-and-greet because she wants to say hello to everyone she sees. She thrives on human connection and will quickly become your loyal little shadow.

She’s not a big barker, either. You’ll rarely hear a peep out of her unless she feels it’s truly necessary—like when someone unfamiliar approaches the yard. Otherwise, she’s calm, quiet, and easygoing.

Her story makes her even more special. Sunny was an incredible mama to a litter of puppies while in the shelter. When her puppies were rescued and she was left behind, she patiently waited for her own chance and that's where we stepped in. Despite everything, she remains full of love and trust—just waiting for her person. She’s the kind of dog that bonds deeply and becomes family.

Sunny is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and ready for her forever home.
