Bartholomew is a 2.5 year old, 22 pound Miniature American Shepherd/Poodle Mix (Aussiedoodle mix) with a gentle, sensitive nature. He may be a bit shy when first meeting new people, but with a little patience, he quickly warms up and becomes a devoted, affectionate companion who wants nothing more than to be your best friend.
Once comfortable, Bart’s playful side shines, he enjoys spending time with other dogs and especially loves a good wrestling match. He also has great leash manners and enjoys exploring the world on walks, as well as running freely in his foster’s fenced yard.
Bart is a smart and food motivated pup who enjoys learning and thrives with positive reinforcement. He loves attention from his people and will happily soak up all the scratches and affection you have to offer.
Bart would do best in a home without children under 16. He may prefer to be the only dog in the home or to live with calm female dogs. With the right environment and a patient adopter, Bart will blossom into a loyal and loving lifelong companion.
