Meet Roxanne! This black and white beauty is 1 1/2 years old and 38lbs. A great size! She is described as, "a scruffy, fun, active, outdoorsy type." Roxanne loves playing in water whether it's an actual body of water or a large puddle. She also loves playing in the play yard with her doggie friends. Foster mom describes Roxanne as a friendly and good-natured girl that loves people (adults and older kids) and gets along with other dogs. She does not do well with cats. No Cats!! She is working on her training including crate, leash and house training but will need some time to practice her skills in a home. This sweet and fun girl would do well with a fun and active family that has the time to train, exercise and play with a young dog.
As with all of our pups we believe Roxanne would do best in a home with children 5 years and older. If you are interested in adding this wonderful young lady to your family, please go to our website, read about our adoption process, and fill out an application.

Any dogs older than pups--even if they are not marked housetrained in their posting---usually housetrain within a day or two, because most are used to living outside in the South and will prefer to do their business outdoors.
Our dogs and pups are best suited for families with children 5 yrs old and up.
Also, please note our open houses which occur most every week at foreverhomerescue.org. You can see when we are open and also which dogs will be at each open house. Dogs marked 'out of town' will not usually be at open houses until they are local.
