Lovely lady Lola finds herself in need of a permanent address to call her very own! If you can believe it, this girl is currently *on the market* for a new family, and we don't expect her to stick around for long! Lola has been spayed, vetted, microchipped, and received a clean bill of health from our vet. Please read on for her story, and for instructions on how to request an application for her!
Here is what we know about LOLA:
- Lola was born on 4.14.25, so she is exactly 11 months old now. She weighs @ 40lbs, and we don't expect her to get much bigger.
- Lola is an Aussiedoodle - her mom was an Aussiedoodle, and dad was a standard poodle. She was purchased from a breeder by her original owner and has paperwork.
- Lola's original family surrendered her to rescue a few months ago because they felt that they didn't have enough time to dedicate to her and wanted to be fair to her and allow her to find a family that could make her their whole world. She was treated very kindly and came to her foster home with all kinds of goodies. We know that new special family is out there for this girlie!
- Lola is very intelligent! She is already house trained, and alerts foster mom with her paw when she needs to go out to potty.
- Lola is also crate trained, and sleeps through the night in her kennel. She happily rides in a crate in the car as well.
- Lola knows sit, stay, come, and can "load up" into the car on command.
- Lola is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and has received a clean bill of health.
- Lola currently lives happily in her foster home with other dogs and gets along just fine with them. We think she would do fine as an only dog or with a playmate. She happily greets anyone she meets!
- Lola hasn't been directly exposed to cats, but she seemed unbothered by them while sniffing their carriers at our vet clinic. With proper introduction, we think she would do just fine with a cat.
- Lola got along well with young children in her previous home, and we think she would do just fine with kids 5+ who understand how to respect doggy boundaries and would love to engage in some playtime!
- Lola is a medium to high energy girl, so her family will need to be ready to keep her entertained and active. She is excited to go on any adventure with you! A fenced in yard would be ideal so that she can have extra playtime. Foster mom reports that she can keep herself entertained with chew bones and toys (she loves to rip the stuffing out of plush toys though!) and is very mild mannered.
- Aussiedoodles make great family dogs, and we would love to see this amazing girl go to a doodle experienced home!
What we love about Lola: She is the total package - a plug and play pup!
