Oh Oakley! His eyes tell the story- he so wants to trust people but isn't quite sure that's the right thing to do. Oakley came into the shelter with his siblings from a hoarding situation. He's lived outside much of his life and doesn't know how great it can be to be a member of a family. He's very loving but cautious and will come out of his shell quickly once he feels confident and safe. He's around 4 months old and we believe he is possibly Anatolian Shepherd mixed with something else so will likely be on the larger side when full grown. As a puppy, he will need a family home more often than not and a family that is committed to all of the puppy things: potty training, crate training, leash training, basic commands, etc; He deserves a loving home where he can continue to relax and enjoy his puppyhood. He is currently in AL but will be coming to Maine in mid-May.
