Are you looking for a devoted companion who will watch over your home and fill your days with affection? Lady is a beautiful one-year-old Anatolian Shepherd who has already captured our hearts! She is the definition of a "gentle giant." In the short time she has been with us, she has shown incredible patience and kindness with our young kids. She is a true family dog who thrives on human connection-while also enjoying some play time with her foster sister!

True to her breed, Lady has a natural instinct to check on her territory. You'll often find her happily patrolling the perimeter of the backyard, ensuring everything is in order. She's quiet and respectful inside the house, only letting out a well-placed bark if she hears someone at the front door to let you know you have company.

She has done well when left loose in the house while we're at work, and at night, she happily curls up on her dog bed in our room. She's a straightforward girl-she prefers a classic chew bone or a treat-filled Kong over complicated puzzle toys, and she's happiest just being near you.

At one year old, Lady is still a teenager at heart and is still learning which toys are hers in a house full of kid toys. She has also found a favorite Nylabone that she prefers not to share. Like many smart, independent breeds, she occasionally has a mind of her own when it comes to basic commands. She is looking for an adopter who is excited to continue her training and help her polish her manners. When it comes to social settings, Lady prefers a "chill" atmosphere over a "party" vibe. She'd much rather skip the rowdy crowds in favor of some focused belly rubs and quality time with her favorite humans.
