Augustus sounds majestic — and he truly lives up to his name.
Big, beautiful, and impossible to ignore, he is a 6-month-old Anatolian Shepherd mix weighing about 35 lbs — at a young age but already carrying a powerful presence.

We don’t know how Augustus found himself on the streets. What we do know is that he wasn’t alone. Side by side with his best friend, he survived however he could. The slightly older, more experienced pup seemed to take Augustus under his protection — guiding him, guarding him, and quite possibly saving his life.

They chased every passing car, running dangerously close to traffic, throwing their tiny bodies toward the road in desperate hope that someone would notice them. Not just for food — but for kindness, for safety, for a chance to be loved.

And then, one day, it happened. One car stopped. One human chose them. And with that single moment, their lives changed forever. “Let’s go start a new life,” the universe finally seemed to say.

That’s how these two little souls earned their chance at a fresh beginning — and we truly believe a beautiful, happy future is waiting for them in loving homes.

And despite everything he’s been through, Augustus is just what a puppy should be. He loves everyone he meets. He loves to play, to explore, to be close. He is sweet, joyful, trusting, and absolutely adorable — the kind of puppy who makes you smile without realizing it and reminds you how powerful a second chance can be.
