We’re calling her Big Girl, and she’s only about 1–2 years old. Somehow, in her short life, she experienced something no dog ever should. She came to us with blood in her urine, and a vet visit confirmed her bladder had been bruised—likely from being kicked.
Let that sink in… and then meet the dog who still wags her tail.
Despite everything, Big Girl is gentle. She’s kind. She’s good with other dogs. She doesn’t act like the world has been cruel to her—even though it has been.
She’s healing now, both physically and emotionally, but what she really needs is a home where she’ll never be hurt again. A place where soft voices replace fear. Where hands bring comfort, not pain. Where she can finally exhale.
