Anatolian Shepherd Dogs Available for Adoption

Barney was seen wandering alone in a rural town we help looking for food. A kind person picked him up and asked us for help finding him a home. He has now completed his veterinary care, and he ready for adoption. Barney has been so sweet since he was found, and we hope he’ll find a great home soon!

Barney loves people and everything about life. He has already learned some manners such as no jumping, sit and down. He learns quickly and loves treat rewards. He has done great with other dogs of any age and size.
He does not chase cats and will be a good match for someone looking for a cat friendly dog. He has been with children as young as 6, and he gave her kisses.

Barney is 8 months old and weighs 45 pounds. We think he’s an Anatolian Shepherd mix. He is neutered, vaccinated for rabies, DHPP and Bordetella. He is also microchipped, heartworm negative and is current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention.
