Anatolian Shepherd Dogs Available for Adoption

Baloo and her siblings were an unwanted litter of puppies born on a farm in a rural town we help. A neighbor asked us for help, because the puppies weren’t being cared for. We were able to save them because one of our fosters agreed to bring them into her home. Baloo has been in our care since she was 5 weeks old, and she has completed her veterinary care. Now she’s ready to find someone who will always love her.

Baloo is affectionate, and she likes to follow people around. She loves any pets she can get. She is almost house trained and learning to potty outside. She is crate trained and leash trained. She loves other dogs and has been with children as young as 6. She is 11 weeks old and weighs 15 pounds. We think she’s an Anatolian Shepherd mix.

Baloo is spayed, vaccinated for rabies, DHPP and Bordetella. She is also microchipped, heartworm negative and is current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention.

They require early socialization and consistent training to manage their independent yet devoted temperament effectively.
