Anatolians are known for being calm, independent, and deeply loyal to their "inner circle"—they don't give their hearts away to just anyone, but once you’re in, you’re in for life.

The Way to His Heart
Rascal is a connoisseur of the finer things—specifically, anything chicken-flavored! While he is quite hesitant to leave the security of his kennel right now, he is easily won over by a tasty snack and a soft voice. Like many of his heritage, he uses these quiet moments to study your face and decide if you’re his new best friend. He is incredibly gentle, taking treats with the lightest touch and a respectful manner.

A "Linguist" of Affection
Once Rascal decides he trusts you, his reserved exterior melts away into pure sweetness. During a recent one-on-one session, it only took a few minutes of quiet petting before Rascal gently rested his head on a volunteer’s knee. He even offered soft "thank you" licks to her hand whenever she stopped petting him.
