DESCRIPTION
Hi, I am Travis
I am one of five siblings, an anotonian shepherd and husky mix, born on 11/25/26. I made the big trip to New York with my four brothers and sisters, and we have been sticking together every step of the way.
I am a thoughtful soul with a gentle heart and a curious mind. I love watching everything around me, learning how the world works, and staying close to my people once I feel safe. I have that husky sparkle mixed with the steady, loyal nature of my shepherd side, which means I can be playful and calm all in the same day.
I am still growing into myself, but what I already know is this. I love kindness, soft voices, cozy naps, and being part of a family. I am ready for a home where I can keep learning, feel safe, and give my whole heart.
If you are looking for a loyal companion who will grow with you and walk by your side through life, I might be your guy.
ABOUT: ANATOLIAN SHEPHERD DOG BREED
The Anatolian Shepherd is a large and powerful ancient breed known for its loyalty, intelligence, and protective nature. Originating in Turkey, these dogs were bred to guard livestock from predators, showcasing their strong natural instincts. Anatolian Shepherds have a distinctive short double coat that comes in various colors, with a black mask common on their faces. They require early socialization and consistent training to manage their independent yet devoted temperament effectively.
The husky breed is renowned for its striking appearance, characterized by piercing eyes and a thick double coat. These medium sized, energetic dogs are known for their friendly and outgoing personalities, making them wonderful companions for active families. Originally bred for sledding and endurance in cold climates, huskies are intelligent and independent, often displaying a strong prey drive. Proper training and regular exercise are crucial to keep these playful and social animals happy and well adjusted.
