Anatolian Shepherd and Cattle Dog Dogs Available for Adoption in Smithfield, North Carolina

Valerie joined us after she was seized from a horrible situation. She came to us significantly underweight at 45 lbs., but with a bright personality. She is gaining weight rapidly and spends her days with a play group of 4 dogs. She is definitely a working dog and would do best in a home that is active and one that has a fenced yard. She definitely herds so no children under 12 years of age or a family with herding dog experience. She does NOT do well with poultry.

Originating in Australia, Cattle Dogs are highly energetic and require ample exercise and mental stimulation.
