Meet Macho Mans!
Once known only as “#12” and chained for fighting, Macho Man endured a past no dog ever should. Today, this 6–7-year-old, 60-pound survivor has completely rewritten his story — one of resilience, forgiveness, and an unbelievable capacity for love.
Despite his tough beginnings, Macho Man is all heart. He’s soft, soulful, and deeply affectionate. He loves kisses and cuddles, leans in for hugs, and will look you straight in the eyes as if he’s telling you just how much he adores you. At night, he proudly wears his jammies to bed and settles in for a cozy, peaceful sleep.
Macho enjoys his walks and sniffy adventures, but he’s not a young gun anymore — relaxation is his specialty. He’s calm, polite, and easygoing, happiest curling up beside his person for a quiet night in. He is house-trained, cooperative for baths and nail trims, and brings a steady, grounding presence wherever he goes.
Macho is dog-friendly and does well with other dogs, including small dogs. He values being able to engage in play, so a social dog in the home would be great for him. He also has a very relaxed side and is happy to just chill out with his dog roommates.
One thing Macho is *very* passionate about? Squeaky toys. LOVES them. Truly lives for them.
After everything he’s been through, Macho Man is ready for a home that values gentleness, comfort, and connection — a place where he can finally feel safe, adored, and at ease for the rest of his days.
Could that be you?
