Zeuski was a family pet living happily with 4 children, a small dog and a cat and was absolutely wonderful with all of them – playful, friendly and outgoing. He was also great with strangers. Then the family became homeless and Zeuski ended up being surrendered to the New York Animal Care Center - The New York Municipal Shelter.
At the shelter he was of course nervous and struggled to acclimate to shelter living. His time was coming to an end and he needed a savior.
A wonderful woman came to his rescue and saved him from euthanasia. He's been in foster with her since December 2025.
He is now ready to find his forever home.

Zeuski would love a family to call his own and would benefit from a fenced in yard. He loves to be outdoors on walks and laying in the sun. Perhaps someone that likes to hike?
Zeuski is a very curious guy. He observes everything. He takes his time to take it all in. Birds, people etc. He looks at things as if it's the first time he's seeing things.
Zeuski needs a loving and patient home to keep on working on his manners and jumpy behavior. He's a loving dog that would make any family complete.
