Transports run every few weeks and we will have the dog on the next available transport once approved. If you are not able to accept a dog until a specific time period, please apply at that time***

We are a volunteer run rescue and donate our time to these dogs. IF you are not serious about moving forward in our adoption process, please do not apply. If someone other than yourself is part of the decision making process, please make sure you have spoken with them and they are on board. We really do not want to waste anyone's time if you are not serious about adopting this dog.

Harlow is a 6-month-old, 40 lb, spayed female Staffie mix currently being fostered in Austin, TX, but she can transport out of state when matched with an approved adopter.

With her bright personality, boundless enthusiasm, and the most adorable heart-shaped marking on her nose, Harlow is impossible not to love. She’s our fun, confident girl — full of joy and spunk — who loves nothing more than tearing around the yard with zoomies, chasing toys, and soaking up attention whenever it’s offered. She’s an active pup who thrives on playtime and exercise and will do best in a home ready to keep up with her zest for life.

While she’s always up for an adventure, Harlow absolutely has a sweet, affectionate side. Once it’s time to wind down, she enjoys cuddling and being close to her people. She’s super smart, treat-motivated, and already knows how to sit, making her a great candidate for continued training. She loves having a job to do and enjoys learning.

Harlow is nearly potty trained, crate trained, and leash trained, and she’s doing an excellent job sticking to her routine. She sleeps through the night in her crate and continues to make great progress every day.

Because she’s confident and strong-willed, Harlow may do best with an experienced owner who can provide clear structure and consistency. She’s had a few squabbles with her siblings over food and toys — fairly typical puppy behavior that’s been a bit more intense in her case — but she does not show this behavior with people or with her foster’s adult dog. This may simply be a sibling dynamic, but she’ll likely do best as an only dog or with a calm, confident older dog who can model good manners.

Harlow hasn’t been around children or cats yet, but we believe she’d do best in a calm home with respectful, well-mannered kids who understand how to interact with puppies. With her bold personality, heart-nose charm, intelligence, and eagerness to learn, she’ll be an incredibly rewarding companion.

While we can’t guarantee her adult size, based on her age and breed mix, Harlow is expected to grow into a large-sized dog. If you’re looking for a smart, energetic, affectionate puppy who’s equal parts playful and loving, Harlow is ready to meet you.
